DAY 1

ATHENS

Meet our representative on your arrival at Athens International Airport, and then proceed to your hotel. Spend some quality time here to release your tiredness. Enjoy the overnight stay in Athens.

 

DAY 2

ATHENS

Today morning catch the famous renowned Acropolis, the Parthenon and Areopagus; where Paul delivered his famous talk on the identity of “the Unknown God.” We will continue our journey to visit the popular Olympic Stadium, Parliament House, Presidential Palace, the Agora and others. Later return to the hotel for a peaceful overnight stay unruffled with the cool air of Athens.

 

DAY 3

CORINTH

This morning start your day with a visit to popular sites like the Archaeological Museum, the Market Place, the major Temples etc. Also, our sightseeing includes another major highlight of Athens like Pillars, the public worship place, the ruins of the church. Later we head on to watch the Tomb of Agamemnon, Lion’s Gate before return back to the hotel. Stay in Athens.

 

DAY 4

ATHENS - DELPHI - METEORA

This morning set on a full day sightseeing of the city of Delphi, Sanctuary of Apollo, historic museum which include the statue of the Charioteer.  And from here we drive towards to Kalambaka for an overnight stay.

 

DAY 5

METEORA

Visit the incredible Meteora and its world-famed Byzantine monasteries made on the summits of high rocks, where the 14th-century monasteries create one among the most awe-inspiring sites in the world. Rest of day at leisure and stay in Kalambaka.

DAY 6

METEORA - THESSALONIKI

Depart from Kalambaka and drive towards Thessaloniki in Macedonia, with a halt at Berea to witness the old synagogue where Paul spoke and King Philip’s tomb in Vergina. Next in line is the St. Demetrius Basilica and St. George’s Church. Enjoy the overnight stay in Thessaloniki.

 

DAY 7

THESSALONIKI - KAVALA - PHILIPPI

Today morning after the delicious breakfast go for a city tour of Thessaloniki and witness the huge devious fortifications, the newly unearthed Forum and the Galerius Arch. Then proceed to Kavala, the stunning mainland port of Greece, where Paul arrived with his disciples Timothy and Silas. After this make a visit to Amphipolis, an historic Greek city prior to Philippi, where St Paul preached and baptized the first Christians in European soil. Also, visit the familiar castle that made on 5th Century B.C, the Acropolis of Kavala.  Relax the rest of the day in the hotel in Kavala.

 

DAY 8

KAVALA - GALLIPOLI - CANAKKALE

Depart from Kavala and arrive at Gallipoli, then visit the highlights of the city like Lone Pine memorial, the War Museum, Anzac Cove, battlefields of WWI etc. Then we continue our journey towards the Dardanelles, a natural channel that splits between Asia and Europe, to Canakkale for an overnight stay at the hotel.

 

 

DAY 9

CANAKKALE - IZMIR

Enjoy your breakfast and proceed for a tour of the ancient city of Troy, here we will definitely get the chance to watch the infamous Trojan horse. And then we pass Troas and is the place where St. Paul spent a week in preaching. Then we will continue to visit the most favoured of the Seven Churches: the church of Pergamum. Also, continue to Thyatira to view the earliest roadway, columns and relics of a basilica. After this, we arrive in Izmir and spend the night.

 

 

DAY 10

IZMIR - SARDIS - PAMUKKALE

Today after enjoying the tasty breakfast we will head on towards the ancient Smyrna agora and the Polycarp’s Church. Then we continue to Sardes, one among the 7 churches mentioned by St. John. And from here, we proceed towards Philadelphia, a city made in 2 BC by King Eumenes. Next, we reach Pamukkale, to look out the sunset over the magnificent waterfalls.  Enjoy the overnight stay in Pamukkale.

 

DAY 11

PAMUKKALE -DEPARTURE

Check out hotel in the morning and then proceed for some last minute shopping. After lunch, Depart from Pamukkale for your onward journey. However the trip end here, but the beautiful memories and experience will remain in the heart forever.
