Today heading towards the famous Apennine Mountains, along the Brenta River past Bologna, to Pisa, the hometown of Galileo and a city, which makes the most of its claim to fame - its Leaning Tower! It has leaned almost since construction first started, due to the swampy soil beneath it. At a photo stop here, catch its amazing beauty along with its characteristic tilt. It is the Duomo's (Cathedral) Bell Tower. Together with the Baptistry, these are all a part of the Square of Miracles. Then move towards Florence, a shrine to the marvels of the Renaissance, with more artistic riches per square meter than any other city in the world. Then you can proceed towards a stretch of olive groves and vineyards to the Tuscany zone. After the busy day, you can check in to your hotel and enjoy the overnight stay in Arezzo.

The morning after the delicious breakfast heading to Aiguille du Midi riding the highest and most inspiring cable car that lifts you to 3842 meters for a haunting view of the Alps. The more courageous can experience Pace into the Void, a 2.50 m glass cage out over a 1000 m precipice. The Aiguille du Midi also has its own postage stamp and a letterbox. Next a ride on the wistful red cog railway to Montenvers. The train climbs a steep track, over scenic Alpine scenery, to a spectacular vantage point above the 'Mer de Glace' (Sea of Ice). You know you have really arrived when you stand at 1913 meters, at the 'Mer de Glace', which is 7 km long and 200 meters thick, with a surface dimension of 40 km. Today, after breakfast, check-out and drive to Lucerne. See picturesque mountains, lakes, cowbells, alpine villages and meadows.
