DAY 1

Arrive Munich

Welcome to your 'European Highlights' tour. On arrival in Munich, your Princy Travels representative will greet you at the 'meeting point' at the exit. After immigration and customs, transfer comfortably to your hotel. Princy Travels takes care to schedule your sightseeing the next day so that you can relax after your long flight and get over your jetlag. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and experience the charm of this great city. Overnight in Munich. Dinner at an Indian restaurant

 

 

DAY 2

Munich - Prague

Today morning after a buffet breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Cesky Krumlov. The city is often described as the fairy tale, charming, picturesque, etc.  Without any doubt, we can say that it is one among the most beautiful towns in Europe and also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites. The city is the second largest in Bohemia and it belonged to the Lords of the Rose. Once you enter your feet in this city you will be mesmerized with its charming uniqueness and splendour. You can simply enjoy the essence of the city by walking in the meandering streets of the town full of concerts, arts, theatre performances, craft shops, galleries and much more. Then we can move towards the Castle Bridge, where you find eye-catching views of the historic centre and the Vltava River that encircles it. This singular sight from a castle made on rock clefts will guarantee your longing to return. Then we can depart for Prague City of a Hundred Spires which is a UNESCO monument and one among the most beautiful cities in the world. Upon arrival, check - into your hotel. Enjoy the overnight in Prague.

 

DAY 3

Prague

Today start your day with the visit to the popular attractions of Prague. First, make a visit to the imposing Prague Castle. Respect the magnificence of this Royal Castle; you will also be awe-struck by the grace of the gothic St. Vitus Cathedral. Then, visit the Royal Palace that used to be the seat of the Bohemian princes. Get familiar with Prague's major highlights like the Old Town Square and the picturesque Charles Bridge. End your trip at the square with the well-known Astronomical Clock. Find out the inhabited zone of Strahov. Enjoy some free time for shopping.  Adore the overnight stay in Prague.

 

DAY 4

Prague - Budapest

Commence your day with the visit to Budapest is the blend of the city names Buda and Pest, which were combined into a single city in 1873.Then visit Bratislava, the larger metropolitan area is home to more than 650,000 people. Bratislava subjugating both banks of the River Danube and the left bank of the River Morava. And is the only national capital that two independent countries like  Austria and Hungary.  At evening check - into your hotel and enjoy the overnight in Budapest.

 

 

DAY 5

Budapest - Vienna

Have your breakfast and go for an exciting city tour of Budapest. Walk along with the Fisherman’s bastion for stunning views of St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Move on to the Hero's square, the Danube embankment and the Chain bridge. The enormous Heroes Square, the beautiful Chain Bridge ties the cities of Buda and Pest, the statue of St. Stephen and the seven turrets. Later on drive to Vienna, Austria’s capital which is famous for its imperial sights, cosy wine taverns, coffee houses, cultural events and the special Viennese charm. Enjoy the overnight stay in Vienna and dinner at an Indian restaurant

 

DAY 6

Vienna - Salzburg

Following a buffet breakfast drive to Schoenbrunn Palace, which is a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. Here you can enjoy a photographic chance as you drive around the ring and pass eminent landmarks such as St. Charles Church, the great State Opera House, the Parliament, the Town hall, the Imperial Palace and others. You will definitely get an insight into the culture and history of the city while visiting these places. Next in line is visit Mauthausen Concentration Camp, the largest labour camp in Upper Austria. The Mauthausen Memorial stances as the souvenir of the darker days of Austria’s history. Then move on to Salzburg, an Austrian city situated on the German border with the amazing sights of the Eastern Alps. The place is also recognized as the birthplace of Mozart the set of the film ‘The Sound of Music’. Upon arrival, check in the hotel, dinner at the Indian restaurant and enjoy the comfortable stay in Salzburg.

 

DAY 7

Salzburg - Innsbruck

Today, proceed for a short orientation tour of Salzburg. The town is the home of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart,  listed in the UNESCO world heritage site, and is the setting of the popular film’ The Sound of Music’ and also the cultural core of Austria.  Visit Fabulous Mirabell Gardens, made by prince-archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau in 1606 as a symbol of his love for Salome Alt.Then we also cover the nearby attractions of the city. Continue a scenic drive to Innsbruck. Situated near the Inn River is one of the most lively and beautiful cities in Europe.  It is an international centre for winter sports and it has hosted the Winter Olympics twice. Upon arrival, board for an orientation trip that hosts you to its world-famous highlights. Witness the Golden Roof, an ornate Gothic balcony created by Emperor Maximilian I in the 15th century, decked with gold painted copper shingles. Then walk to the Imperial Church trailed by the 'Hofburg' or Imperial Palace. This capital of the Alps has a past of 800 years. After this get back to your hotel and check-in.  Experience the wonderful overnight stay and the calmness in Innsbruck.

 

 

DAY 8

Homeward Bound

Today, after breakfast, check-out and drive to Munich. The trip commences with a visit only from the outside and photo stop at the Palace of Nymphenburg, the earlier summer house of the Bavarian elector princes and kings. The Palace is enclosed by stunning park gardens and some smaller palaces. The water features and lawns of the park are similarly lavish as the splendid Nymphenburg Palace. Later on, we move on to visit Pinakotheken art museum, the National Theater with the Royal Palace,  the world-famous Hofbrauhaus, St. Peter's Church (Peterskirche),  Olympic Stadium, Marienplatz, Viktualien market with its colourful outdoor stalls, Cathedral of Our Blessed Lady (Frauenkirche). Good epochs need never end! As you get ready for the airport and your flight back home, relive the high points of your 'European Highlights' tour.   • Any increase in the airfare / taxes / routing charged by the airlines for tickets (presently calculated on 01 Jan 2018).
  • Airline and Hotel surcharges (if applicable) during high / festive season / trade fairs to be paid extra per person.
  • Cost of extension of validity or deviation of your air-ticket
  • Medical test and Premium cost of your Trawelltag / assist with Insurance valid for passengers above 70 years of age.
  • Porterage at hotels, apartment, airports and seaports, tips, laundry, wines, mineral water, telephone charges, all items of personal nature and also food and drinks not forming part of the touring group's menu.
  • Anything not specifically mentioned under Inclusions.
  • Baggage handling fee charged by the operating airline for the excess check-in baggage.
  • Any increase in rate of Euro (Presently calculated at 1 Euro = 80 INR, as on 01 Jan 2018) leading to an increase in tour cost coming into effect prior to departure. However, the rate prevailing on the given day of payment will apply.
