Golden Triangle (Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Delhi) 5Nights/6days

Day 1: Delhi
You are cordially welcomed the Indian way by our representative at the Airport in Delhi. The rest of the day to enjoy the neighborhood and for rest. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi
After having a sumptuous breakfast. You will be moving for sight seeing. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Place Description: Delhi is categorized into old and New Delhi where you will see monuments of the past to the modern buildings of the present day. Our first stop would be to visit the famous Qutub Minar. The speciality of this lighthouse or Minaret is that it is the tallest one. The speciality of the Indo-Muslim architecture can be seen in all its beauty here. Our next destination would be Humayun’s tomb (this is the famous garden tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun). Also it was declared as a world Heritage site in 1993 by UNESCO. Next we move to see the Parliament house which was built by the British during their reign in India. Now to the place where our father of the nation (Mahatma Gandhi) was cremated (known as Raj Ghat). Later in the evening we will be visiting Red Fort (It is made of red stones and is famous in the history of Indian Independence. It was here that the announcement of Indian Independence from the colonial rule was declared by Pandit Jawharlal Nehru). Also it has fought a great many wars by the Muguals. Later on we move on to visit Jama Masjid (the famous mosque built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan).
Places to Visit: Qutub Minar, Humayun’s tomb, Rastrapati Bhavan, Raj Ghat, Red Fort and Jama Masjid.

Day 03: Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, we will be driving from Delhi to Agra which is a 5 hr drive. Check into the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel.
Place Description: Agra Fort is a yet another famous fort built in red sandstone. Many great Emperors of ancient India have lived and ruled from this fort. This is also declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Taj Mahal-the palace built in the name of love stands close to the Agra Red Fort on the banks of the Yamuna river. The Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Shah Jahan was to built another Kala Mahal (Black Palace using black marbles) for himself behind the present Taj Mahal but it was at this time that he was put under house arrest by one of his sons. One can see the tombs of Shah Jahan beside his wife in recent times and this monument is closed on Fridays.
Places to Visit: Agra Fort and Taj Mahal.

Day 4: Agra to Jaipur
After breakfast, you will be travelling to Jaipur (Rajasthan) which would take 6 hrs. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Place Description: On the way to Jaipur, we visit Fatehpur Sikri this city is called ghost town as it was abandoned. It was built by the Mughual Emperor Akbar in honor of the saint Shaikh Salim who had foreseen the birth of a son to the royal family.

Day 5: Jaipur
Full day sightseeing at Jaipur. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Place Description: We first visit the Amber Fort where you can witness the blend of Hindu-Muslim architecture. You can walk up the fort or drive or take an elephant ride. You will also visit ‘The Pink City’ and the ‘City Palace’ (we visit Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal) and ‘Jantar Mantar’. Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory built in stone. You will be taken to a palace which is 5 storied high with windows that resemble the shape of a honey-comb. This palace is called Hawa Mahal (Hawa means wind and Mahal means Palace that is Palace of Winds)

Day 6: Delhi
After breakfast, you will be taken back to Delhi to board your flight back to your next destination. The tour ends.
