Kovalam

The Beach Town Kovalam is located at a distance of 13 kilometers from the Capital City Thiruvananthapuram. The city has three crescent beaches separated by rocky highlands, which never fail to attract visitors.

Among the three, Light House Beach, which is the largest of the three beaches, is the most famous beach in Kovalam. The beach is called so because of the presence of a 35-meter high Light House in here. Hawah Beach, which was named after topless European women who frequented this place in large groups, is the second largest beach. Life couldn’t be more interesting than one spent on either of the two beaches.
